GEOSS Summer School: Advancing Earth Observation Data Understanding

The Summer School aims at introducing the participants to advanced information analysis methods for the latest generation of EO sensors, and also to present and demonstrate novel tools and methods for Knowledge based EO data understanding.

The lectures are addressed both to the scientific and application oriented communities involved in interdisciplinary areas as: geo- ciences, environment monitoring, computer science, agriculture, surveillance, electrical engineering, risk and hazard monitoring, etc.

The lectures   will be followed by practical exercises and dedicated discussions.
