    Sinaia is a mountain resort located about 120 km from Bucharest along the Prahova Valley, in the Carpathian Mountains. It is a popular destination for hiking and winter sports. Two of its main tourist attractions are the Sinaia Monastery, build in the 17th century and the Peles Castle, summer residence of the Hohenzollern Royal House.

    How to get to Sinaia

    From the Henri Coanda Aeroport, Bucharest you may travel to Sinaia by:

    - Train - The 780 Express Line bus will take you from the airport to 'Gara de Nord' Railway Station. From here you may take a train to Sinaia. The 780 Express Line bus schedule is available on this website. The schedule of the trains that leave from 'Gara de Nord' Railway Station is available on this website.
     
    - Taxi - In front of the International Arrivals Terminal you may find taxi cabs. To avoid unpleasant situations, we recommend using Fly Taxi. More information is available on this website.
     
    - Car - Information about how you may rent a car is available on this website.

    The organizers may provide on your request transportation with a minibus/private car from the Henri Coanda Airport, Bucharest to Hotel Caraiman, Sinaia and return.

    Information about the meeting point, cost and schedule of the minibuses/private cars will be provided in due time.

    The persons that are interested should send an email that specifies the date and hour of the arrival and departure flight to cosmin.nistor@rosa.ro , no later than 15 August 2009.
